I met Michael in the summer of 2018. He was a massage student finishing up his 3 year year program, at Mohawk College in Hamilton, Ontario. He came into Healing by Hands looking for a student placement so he could get his 40 hours of credit for his course. In December 2018 he graduated from Mohawk College. He is now registered with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario.
Michaels treatments have a continuous flow to them and firm pressure. He mostly likes doing deep tissue work but has vast knowledge in other treatment modalities. I would describe Michael as being the human thumper. He takes tapotment to a whole other level. I believe it is because of his experience as a drummer that, he has the stamina to do tapotment, for a very long time.
Michael is also a very gifted guitar player and has an beautiful voice. Maybe when you are in next you will catch a glimpse of his talents.
Michaels long term goals include playing in a band and possibly venturing of in the direction of becoming a Chiropractor.
